Some long travel days may be required to complete this itinerary and you will typically spend two nights at each destination, with some one night stays required. This trip includes a mix of sightseeing and free time to explore at your own pace. You will be required to move about unassisted, including getting on and off vehicles, walking up and down stairs and some activities will be conducted on uneven or steep terrain. You will be required to handle your own luggage.
A portion of this tour runs as a group tour where you will be escorted by an expert tour leader. Another portion is self-guided, whether conducted by rail, cruise or land, and you will travel between destinations on your own, with free time to explore at your own pace.

Today, travel along the Thousand Islands Parkway, stopping to cruise through the beautiful Thousand Islands. By the late afternoon you’ll arrive in Ottawa, where dinner has been arranged this evening.
Start off your day with a guided tour, pausing at Parliament Hill among other sites. Afterwards, choose what you want to do.

Today you’re on high-alert for deer and black bears at Parc Omega. Continue to Mont Tremblant for a gondola ride.
Today, head for Ile d’Orleans. Nicknamed the ‘Garden of Quebec’, this sleepy island is a food lover’s paradise. Continue to Quebec City and set out on a guided tour.

Spend a full day cruising the Gulf of St Lawrence and maritime landscapes.
Today you’ll dock in Charlottetown. While here, you might opt to explore the Anne of Green Gables homestead (own expense).
Arrive in Sydney, the gateway to the Cape Breton coastline, and have a chance to soak up the scenery and artisan workshops which the town is famous for.
Set off at your own pace or tour Peggy’s Cove, a small, rural community famous for Peggy’s Point Lighthouse (own expense).
Step ashore at Bar Harbor and maybe visit Acadia National Park (own expense).

Group size varies from package to package. Depending on the services provided, the group size might range from private 2 person experiences up to coaches of 50 people depending on your selected holiday.
